I invite you to explore everything that I have achieved in my career over the past 16 years teaching in Public Education. I relocated to Cypress, Texas in July 2018 and have been the Assistant Band Director/Director of Percussion at Waltrip High School in Houston, Texas. Prior to moving to Texas, I held the position as Music Director Grades 7-12 for 12 years in Millbury, Massachusetts.
I hold a Bachelors Degree in Music Education and Percussion Performance from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst where I studied classical percussion under Eduardo Leandro and marching percussion with DCI Hall of Famer Thom Hannum. I also had the pleasure to study under the direction of the late George Parks. While working in Millbury, I earned my Masters Degree in Music Education from Boston University.
